Thanks and let us hear that COREL is interested to address the current needs of ASPro customers. Let us see something soon for RAW beta testing for complete version change is not a requirement to the simplicity of making the program work for us who are waiting and having to find alternative software OR having to modify our work schema to get by until sometime another 6-months or so from now. modify the existing ORF code to the minimal changes to E-M1 ORF code. The program has always been good, dating back to that v1 of Bibble and it continues to be good (better than most IMO) but NEEDS camera RAW data updates much more often than we see.ĬOREL competition bothers to get it done, why can't COREL meet the competition in the most elementary of the code. Having had a 48-year career in business IT I know it is impossible to satisfy all regarding code changes but when the mainstream premis of ASPro is to process camera RAW data it should follow that it is a most important reason for updates. I am a MAC user and a user of the software dating back to Bibble v1 and the most important part of updating is staying as current as possible for processing camera RAW data. and now another month has passed, I agree with so many others, we need an ASPro update so we can continue processing new camera data, mine is Olympus E-M1 RAW. Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing the progress in the other non-GPU areas! Fingers crossed. I'd be interested in beta testing on Linux, though this is probably not the place to ask. But I do wonder if there could be bigger gains in image operations (for the same effort) by, for example, ensuring more of the image processing is previewed on the screen-resolution images (and which would help all users, including those on very modest systems) Of course I only hypothesise as I don't know about the ASP internals, but sometimes I wonder if Bibble 4 feels faster for these reasons. I do worry that things like OpenCL and GPU could be a distraction, though I note that you don't say this is the only thing being worked on. That's actually what gives me the most 'speed', and I almost only use colour, crop + sharpen and the occasional localised layer Bugs like deadlocks are still there and really can come at inconvenient times, too. Like some of the other folks expressing their opinions here, personally I am most interested in a really robust and reliable set of basic image operations with a good UI to them operating on sets of images. I look forward to seeing where things are moving. You can’t buy a new car, pop open the hood, add and/or remove parts from it, and then take it back to the manufacturer claiming it was made defective. Thanks Rick, good to hear an update here. I agree, however, in general that people who choose to use mods also bear the responsibility of making sure problems they want to report with a game aren’t caused by said mods (whether that mistake was made here or not). I personally use very few mods with a game, if any, but these bug fixing types I quite appreciate and often include in my small list of additions. stories girls hooking issues students fish sites ryanair over nyc. Ask anyone who has ever spent time adding mods to an Elder Scrolls game what the first mod they usually install is, and they’d probably name an unofficial patch. Why wait to enjoy a selection of user-crafted improvements and additions just because the developers aren’t done patching the game?Īlso, it’s not uncommon for mods to be made that actually fix bugs where possible. Some of them alleviate issues that players consider far more serious than whatever potential issues a given mod might cause. ![]() Just because mods might cause more problems hardly seems like a sound reason not to enjoy the benefits they can offer. The game itself has a lot of bugs and glitches already, i wonder how people have the courage to install and use mods in this game.
